Itinerary

Day 1 |The arrival to Casablanca.

You will be picked at your arrival from the airport to go for the city tour, you will start exploring the famous Hassan II mosque driving around the big streets of Casablanca the economic capital of Morocco, going for lunch to have a drink and relax in one of the recommended restaurants by the edge of the coast to enjoy the view of the Atlantic ocean.

Day 2 | Casablanca - Chefchaouen the blue town.

Departure at early Morning to make the most of your day, from Casablaca heading straight to the administrative capital of Morocco Rabat city, you will have the chance to visit the Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower & the tombs of Kings before driving straight to Chefchaouen city in the north of Morocco, through the highway before continuing inland roads, lunch by a local restaurant in Souk Larbaa town, there going to be some short stops when needed to stretch your legs and to stop for the beautiful views to make the long distance from Casablanca to the blue town short.

Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 3 | Chefchaouen to Meknes city.

Today possible to make a late departure to have more time exploring the blue town in the morning, then straight to Meknes city, of the main imperial cities of Morocco. On the way you will stop for lunch depending on your time, you with reach an amazing historical site by the Afternoon, named Volubilis and it is known as the Roman ruins. You will spend an 1 hour with a local guide to take you for a walk visiting the site.

Day 4 | Meknes to Fes city.

An early departure to Fes city about 1h driving,The city of Fes has the oldest Medina in Morocco (Medina known the old part), when you get to Fes you will meet a local guide and you will start the city tour, visiting The King Palace from the outside, The Jewish quarter, the Panoramic view of the old medina, the ceramic manufacture to see how is the art craft made Ceramics in particular, after we will drive back to the old part the medina, to start the walking tour through the small narrows, visiting the Taneries of leader, the oldest university Al Qarawyen and the AL Attarin school. You will be picked up after 3 to 4 hours to go to your hotel, to relax and you will be free to go out by the evening in case you need to.

Day 5 | Fes to Boulaajoul town.

After having your Breakfast you will be picked up to drive straight to Boulaajoul, driving through the middle Atlas mountains, on the one you will stop by Ifrane town known as the Switzerland of Morocco, the Forest of Michelifen for the macaque Apes.

Day 6 | Boulaajoul to Merzouga village (sahara desert).

After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey to Merzouga, Erg Chebbi in Particular, we will pass through Midelt town, crossing the High Atlas mountains, along the way with the Ziz Valley, the famous Valley and the longest in the south eastern Morocco, we will stop by the Ziz Panoramic to enjoy the view and the scenery of the palm groves and the desert. Passing through Erfoud, the city of fossils, a chance to visit the meusum of the fossils to learn about the acheology of the area of Erfoud and the desert in particular. The evening ends by the camel, you will be going for a camel ride in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. In desert, you’ll play drums with nomad people, enjoy dinner, you will have the chance to see the shooting stars clearly in the vast sky at night.

Day 7 | Merzouga - desert tour.

After enjoying breakfast in in the camp, we will drive dtraight the nomads behind the dunes of Erg Chebbi to see they lifestyle and we will be welcome to have some tea under their nomadic tent, after that we will El Khamlia Village, village of ancient slaves (history says it) in Khamlia, where you’ll meet some families living there who are so friendly to that extent they will invite you to drink a cup of tea as a proof of hospitality they present and play a kind of African music known as gnawa music. We will continue driving to Rissani to visit an authentic traditional market. Interacting with the locals. Lunch depends on when you decide to have it, and of course we recommend the local food.

Back to the hotel by the evening to relax and to spend an overnight.

Day 8 | Merzouga to Ouarzazate city.

Passing through Erfoud town, we will stop by El Khattarat (an underground errigation system which has been used in the last century to face the drought in the region of Erfoud, Fezna and El Jarf villages), later on we will drive straight the Todgha gorges by the High Atlas mountains, The valley of roses, Skoura town to Visit a the beautiful Amridil Kasbah (a traditional castle made of clay and known also as a fortress), ending in the Hollywood of Africa Ouarzazate city.

Day 9 | Exploring Ouarzazate and its region.

Today will be spent in Ouarazazate and nearby, we will firstly visit the Atlas studio that has a museum that represents statues and area for movies illustration. (Ouarzazate is a very famous destination for movies producers, nationally and internationally, famous movies as: Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and The Mommy… then drive to the Ait Ben Haddou Castle, a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE, lunch nearby he castle after walking around with a local guide by the village and visiting, exploring the castle, later we will drive straight to Fint Oasis, a beautiful natural Oasis by the Anti-Atlas to stretch and relax by the river and the palm trees and the garden around before we go back to the hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 10 | Ouarzazate to Zagora.

We will start our journey immersing through the Anti-Atlas mountains and the longest Valley in Morocco, The Draa Valley, we will have a short stop by Agdez town, a beautiful panoramic for the beginning of the Draa Valley before we drive all the way the valley to Zagora, the scenery changings and the villages that represent the architecture of the are, muddy and rocky houses.

Short stops for the beautiful view and the traditional castles whenever needed and lunch on the road as well.

The region around Zagora is rich in ancient history. The original settlement is believed to have been founded near the Draa River, an essential water source in an otherwise arid landscape. Evidence of prehistoric settlements and rock art indicates that humans have lived in the region for thousands of years.

Day 11 | Zagora to Erg Chegaga dunes.

Starting from Zagora and heading south furthermore, driving through the vast desertic lands of the Sahara desert, our first stop will be the traditional manufactory of pottery in Tamgrout town, there going to be a short stop to interact with the locals and how do they work making pieces of art made of mud in a traditional way and traditional tools. Later on, we will drive M’hamid El Ghizlan town, the end of the national road and well get to the off-road, about 3 to 4 hours driving to the dunes of Erg Chegaga, lunch is is going be made by us in the middle of the desert, by the evening we will get to the camp in the Erg Chegaga dunes, you will go for a camel ride, at the top of the dunes you will enjoy a beautiful and authentic view for the sunset.

Day 12 | Erg Chegaga dunes to Taliouine town.

Ealy mornig departure towards Taliouine town, another 4 hours driving in the desert through the off-road before we get the national road in Foum-zguit town by the south side of the Anti-Atlas mountains, the scenery changes all the way to Taznakht Town (the town is popular of handmade art craft, rugs and carpets in particular made by women through weaving).

Later on we will drive towan the capital of Safran, Taliouine town for an overnight.

Day 13 | Taliouine to Agadir city the capital of Sous region.

After having breakfast we will drive dtraight to Taroudant city, one pof the oldest cities in Morocco known as the little Marrakech and it has an authentic old part we call it the Medina, we will meet a local guide to guide through the old medina for an hour to two hours exploring the town, later on we will drive towards Agadir, we will explore city before we go the your hotel. The evening you are free to go and walk around in case you would like to or to relax at your hotel.

Day 14 | Agadir to Eassaouira city.

We will start our journey towards Essaouira, we will drive all the way by the coast, the beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean and the changing of scenery till Essaouira, the ocean, the mountains and the green.

We might find goats on trees, the Argan trees in particular.

The argan tree has played a role in the cultures of the Berber people living there for hundreds of years. Argan is a multi-purpose tree and each part of it is usable as a food or economic resource. The fruit can be eaten, oil can be extracted from the nuts and the tree’s wood can be used for fuel. The tree has therefore played a vital socio-economic role in local culture, and currently provides a significant source of food and income for around three million people, over two million of which live in rural areas.

Day 15 | A day free in Essaouira.

You will be meeting a local guide by the morning to guide around and introduce you the history of the town and the famous historical sites. It takes at least two hours, then the rest of the days is yours to spend it the way you prefer but there will be some choices for restaurant especially the locations, the sunset view as example.

Day 16 | Essaouira to Marrakech.

A late departure to Marrakech, around 3 hours driving, you will get to Marrakech to the Afternoon, the plan of the evening will be provided by your driver guide.

Day 17 | City tour to explore the imperial city of Marrakech.

You will start your journey from your hotel/Riad, the guide will join you to start exploring the old part in which you will explore The Bahia palace, The Quranic school Ben Youssef, the Menara Gardens a walk through the small narrows of the old part of Marrakech (the medina), about 4 to 5 hours exploring the city, the architecture and the history and handcraft stuff by the old part.

By the afternoon, you have the choice to visit the Majorell garden, the Berber museum and the  Yev San Loran museum.

The rest of the day is free, make sure to book your dinner in one of the recommended restaurants by the old part and for a wonderful view for the sunset you can go to Café De France or one of the restaurants nearby by to have some drink and enjoy the sunset.

Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 18 A day trip to Imlil by the High Atlas mountains.

After finishing your breakfast, you will be picked up to start your journey to Imlil. We will pass by the small town Tahanaount considered the center administrative of the villages in the region of Asni and Imlil villages, on the road will visit a Berber family and we will be welcomed in their traditional houses to have some Moroccan tea, you will also see how the grandfather makes the real Moroccan tea step by step which is totally different that how is prepared in the big cities and the restaurants in particular. Later on, we will drive straight Imlil village, there we will meet a local guide to go for a walk through the village, the river and interacting with the locals. You will have lunch in one of the local restaurants, around 4 pm we will drive back to Marrakech.

Day 19 | A day off in Marrakech.

Today is your day, to relax or maybe to go for little walk by yourselves, lunch and dinner will be made by your choice somewhere.

Day 20 | transfer to Casablanca airport.

Departure has to be 6 hours before your flight departure time, from Marrakech MV international airport near Casablanca, it takes at least 2 hours and a half to three hours from Marrakech, better to get there early than being late.
